58 Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Philadelphia in the Women Certifiedlist of Top 100 Hospitals in terms of Patient Experience

Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) Philadelphia made it to the 6th position in an overall list of top 100 hospitals in terms of patient experience based on female patient satisfaction. The list of hospitals from across United States was made by Women Certified, the female consumers’ collective voice which acts as a trusted referral source for brands and top businesses identified among women.

This prestigious list is published every year and hospitals are selected based on a proprietary scoring process. As part of this process, a joint study and in-depth research on gender wise consumer satisfaction is also done with the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

According to John McNeil, President and CEO of CTCA in Philadelphia, everything is done at CTCA in effort to improve the patient experience; at the same time focus is retained on helping the cancer patients in their fight against the disease and also to maintain a high quality of life. He said that the award from Women Certified  is a recognition of CTCA’s commitment to listen and respond to what ever is of importance to the patient.

WomenCertified  honored CTCA with the Women’s Choice Award for being a top hospital and having high scores in the category of consumer satisfaction. As a representation of the collective opinion of women highly recommending that brand, service or hospital, a Seal is present at the hospital, empowering women to make better choices.

Empowering women to make Educated Healthcare Decisions:

According to Delia Passi, CEO and founder of Women Certified , and former publisher of Working Mother and Working Women magazines, women make or influence more than 85 percent of all healthcare decisions taken in families or for themselves. She said that Women Certified attempts to help these women identify friendly hospitals across the nation and they align these hospitals with women’s identified preferences as part of their mission, enabling women help women make better choices.
